SCOPE AND MOTIVATION
The ubiquitous Internet of Things (IoT) changes our daily lives by offering creative applications in an ecosystem of massive intelligent and heterogeneous devices. In typical IoT scenarios, such as smart cities, smart factories, smart transportation, smart homes, and telemedicine, various low-cost devices must be connected via low-power wide-area networks (LPWAN) for efficient and reliable communications and shorter response times. In addition, the digital industry constantly evolves due to emerging advanced technologies, e.g., the large language models (LLM) and artificial intelligence (AI), leading to more cyber threats and attacks. Therefore, we must provide low-latency and high-security communications in real-world IoT applications.
This workshop aims to bring together academic and industry contributions focusing on the challenges mentioned above. We solicit original research works not published or considered elsewhere in various areas of importance to IoT. Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following.
