Talk Title:
Data Security: Challenges and Progresses

Talk Abstract :
With the development of artificial intelligence (AI) and large language model (LLM) technologies, the capacities of developing and utilizing data have become essential indicators reflecting the competitiveness of companies and countries. Meanwhile, in the increasingly complex cyberspace environment, data is at high risk of security threats, such as information leakage, data damage, or privacy breaches, which therefore motivates the research on data security and privacy protection. In this presentation, we share our thoughts, insights, and research works on cutting-edge technologies for data security and privacy, including differential privacy, multi-party computation, privacy-preserving/enhancing machine learning, and LLM security.
